Continent, Not Country

The African continent is enormous and includes many diverse cultures. There are no sweeping generalizations to make when discussing African culture, as Africa includes 54 recognized countries and roughly 3,000 tribal groups. Across Africa, the religions practiced are primarily Christianity, Islam, and traditional tribal religious systems.

This guide covers only a small subset of the continent.
