Back to the Books! Local & OhioLINK lending has resumed...Contactless pickup now available

posted by Donna Stewart on 2020-08-19T17:15:00-04:00 | 0 Comments

Book holds are back!  Local and OhioLINK lending has resumed, and contactless pickup is now available for both Scholar and OhioLINK holds.

  • Visit our Scholar Catalog to order local or OhioLINK materials online.
  • Select "Michael Schwartz Library" as your pickup location if you wish to pick up your materials in person as usual.
  • Select "Michael Schwartz Library Contactless" as your pickup location if you prefer contactless pickup.
  • We'll let you know when your materials are ready to be picked up, and give you instructions for a safe, no-contact transaction if you have requested it. Otherwise, just come to the Library and pick up your books at the User Services Center. We’ll be open this semester 8am - 5pm.
  • Whichever method of pickup you choose, for your safety, materials will be quarantined for 3 days before they are processed and ready for pick-up. Textbook availability and the usual OhioLINK 3-5 day turnaround time for expected delivery will be delayed to accommodate this extra time.

Stay tuned for more information as we have it

As we continue to support remote teaching and learning, we are developing a phased approach to resuming some of our most in-demand on-campus library services - including access to print collections - and gradually reopening library spaces when it is safe to do so.

Be sure to bookmark our continuously-updated Continuity of Library Services page for the very latest information.
