Cleveland State University is big! There are several core systems the university uses that you will want to gain familiarity with, like campus email, the Blackboard online learning system, and CampusNet, used for scheduling and student records.
In addition, you might want a map of campus!
MyCSU is your home base for anything CSU related. It has links to most campus systems that you will use on a regular basis.
CampusNet is the online portal that lets you view your schedule and grades, browse classes, forward your email, and more.
You can reset your password online at the log in page, or by calling 216-687-5050 *7.
Starfish is an online system that allows you to easily communicate and set up appointments with your professors and support services, like your advisor, tutoring, and other personnel.
You can log in to Starfish through CampusNet by clicking on the 'Student' tab, and then clicking the Starfish icon.

You can use the Campus Directory to locate phone numbers and emails for faculty, staff, and departments.
What is Blackboard?
Blackboard is a course management system. Most professors at CSU use Blackboard in one way or another to organize class materials, hold online discussions, communicate with students, and collect assignments.
If you would like a more extensive introduction to Blackboard, you may enroll in a self paced online course supported by eLearning.
Mobile Campus is a laptop loan program offered through Information Services and Technology. They also loan out tablets and calculators.
PC Laptops and iPads can be rented for up to five hours. Graphing calculators may be loaned for up to 24 hours.
There are two loan stations, one located in Student Center SC128A, and one at the User Services desk in the Michael Schwartz Library.
Log in to your campus email at http://engage365.csuohio.edu/.
In addition to email, you have access to web versions of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and cloud storage through an app called OneDrive.
Viking Outfitters is the university bookstore. Here you can find out what books are required for your class, and purchase them directly.
To look up your course books, click the "Books" link, and fill out the form.
Viking Outfitters is located on the 1st floor of the student center.
There are many computer labs on campus. Click here for information about lab locations.
Log in to student lab computers or rented laptops with your CSU ID# as your username and your campus net password.
Every semester, you start with an $80 print balance. Printing costs 4 cents for black and white pages, and 50 cents for color pages.
