MSL Sustainabili-Tea Swap: Home

Event Information

Please save the date for the Michael Schwartz Library's inaugural Sustainabili-Tea Swap, hosted by the library’s Sustainability Team. In an effort to encourage sustainable consumption, decluttering, socializing with colleagues --- and most importantly, tea drinking  --- the library's sustainability team invites you to bring lightly used household items for donation to the Free Swap.

On Wednesday, August 17th, bring lightly used donateable items from home. All day Thursday, August 18th, "shop" the free swap in RT 502, and be sure to join us in RT-503 at 10am for some homemade treats and your coworkers' favorite teas while learning how to make a reusable shopping bag from that T-Shirt you got at a conference 10 years ago that you have never worn but can't seem to part with. Items not claimed by Friday, August 19th will be donated to charity/thrift shops, recycled, or otherwise responsibly disposed of by members of the Michael Schwartz Library sustainability team. There is no need to donate anything to participate.

Please RSVP via the calendar invite if you intend to join us at 10am on August 18th.
Thinking about making or baking a treat? Please sign up so all our home chefs and bakers can coordinate.
Can't make it or have something big? Arrange a swap outside of our event in our Virtual Swap Teams channel.
