VA’s Cleveland Regional Benefit Office (RO) administers a variety of services, including Compensation, Education, Insurance, Loan Guaranty, Pension, and Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment for Veterans, Servicemembers, their families and survivors in Ohio’s 88 counties.

The Veterans Service Commission was established to assist honorably discharged veterans, their spouses, and minor children. They prepare federal VA claims, assist veterans suffering financial hardship, and support veterans in their career development.

The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center is one of five facilities constituting the VA Healthcare System of Ohio. A full range of primary, secondary and tertiary care services are offered at the Cleveland VA Medical Center to an eligible Veteran population covering 24 counties in Northeast Ohio. Care is provided to more than 105,000 Veterans each year through an inpatient tertiary care facility (Wade Park), 13 Multi-Specialty Clinics, Vet Centers, and numerous community-based contract nursing homes.

C.A.V.A. aids veterans transitioning out of homelessness, by providing assistance moving, furnishing, and readying the home.
