The Michael Schwartz Library is now open. Physical items from our collection, OhioLINK, and Interlibrary Loan are available once again. But you can still make use of our robust online options for ebooks, articles, and videos. For more information, visit our page on Remote/Off Campus Access to Library Resources.
Welcome to the Research Guide for Theatre! The resources collected here will help you complete class assignments and projects. Feel free to explore the tabs above to get specific research help.
I would love to meet with you individually to help you get started with your research or to answer any questions. Please call me or email me if you need research assistance or if you would like to schedule an appointment (see the box below).
In 2019, thanks to a grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and the State Library of Ohio, CSU’s Michael Schwartz Library and Theatre and Dance Department were able to restore a historic model of the Globe Theatre that had fallen into disrepair.
We encourage you to enjoy the beautiful model on display in Theatre & Dance Department in the Middough Building.
