Citing Correctly

You must use citations to give proper credit to your sources. If you don't, you are plagiarizing. Plagiarizing is a violation of the CSU Code of Student Conduct/Academic Regulations and Procedures 3.1.2.

Bibliographic Format (from your assignment)

In general:

  • Entries in a bibliography are organized alphabetically by the author’s last name.
  • Single-space within the entries, skip a line between entries.
  • The first line in each entry is not indented. Indent the second and subsequent lines by half an inch.

For the entries, follow the Chicago style of documentation--see your assignment for examples and the style guides above for more details.
