HED 354: Methods and Materials for Health Education: Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool

These resources are designed to introduce students to materials needed to implement comprehensive school health education at appropriate grade levels.

HECAT

The HECAT features:

  • Preliminary curriculum considerations, such as accuracy, acceptability, feasibility, and affordability analyses

  • Specific health-topic concept and skills analyses
  • Customizable templates for state or local use
  • Summary score forms for consolidating scores from the review of a single curriculum and for comparing scores across multiple curricula
