ECAI IRAQ (Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative) is a temporal-spatial portal into existing digital resources about history, cultural sites, archaeological excavations and heritage preservation initiatives. Users can access these information sources using interactive, time-enabled thematic maps. The data, that can be displayed for the Iraqi and Mesopotamian material culture, is found on hundreds of web sites around the world
Harvard’s Open Collections Program (OCP) has produced digital copies of over 280 manuscripts, 275 printed texts, and 50 maps, totaling over 156,000 pages. Users can search or browse online materials that date from the 10th to the 20th centuries CE.
