In a twist of fate, the boundary between our world and the Upside Down has become unstable at Michael Schwartz Library. Strange messages and eerie codes have appeared at different locations throughout the building. Like the heroes in Stranger Things, you (our brave CSU students) must use your library skills to uncover eight mysterious codes hidden around the library. Each station is an independent challenge. Once you’ve collected all eight codes, combine them to reveal the ultimate password that will restore balance and open the portal back to normalcy.

How It Will Work:

•  You’ll form a team of 3-5 students and work together on the challenges.
•  Each team can choose the order in which to complete the stations, but we recommend not all starting on the first floor – spread out as much as you can.
• At each station, start by opening the tab on this page for that corresponding station. It will tell you what to do and give you a chance to record your code for that station.
• Once all codes are collected, head to the Final Puzzle Station (the LCLC lab) to unlock the portal.
