If you are searching for books on a topic, select a specific SCOPE to search:

• Everything @CSU
• CSU Books & Media
• CSU Books & Media + OhioLINK

The Michael Schwartz Library is a member of OhioLINK, which is a consortium of 115 academic libraries at 86 Ohio institutions, plus the State Library of Ohio. You can search for and borrow books from other OhioLINK college and university libraries as a CSU student. Just "Sign in" to Discovery @ CSU with your CampusNet credentials to request books from other academic libraries through OhioLINK.

When searching for books on a topic:

• Enter just a few keywords that describe your topic.
• Tweak your results using the filters on the left.
  • Under "Resource Type," select "Books." 
    • eBooks will show "Available Online." Follow the link to access the full text.
    • Print books will display a call number and location in the library.
  • Refine the "Creation Date" to find items published within a certain time frame or to find newer items.
• Use the citation generator (quotation marks symbol) to create a citation for the book you select. Remember to check citations for accuracy before including them in your work!

The Michael Schwartz Library provides access to eBooks (Electronic Books). The full listing of eBook collections can be found on the eBooks page. You can search eBook collections individually to locate eBooks.

Some of these collections, like Google Books, are available to everyone for free on the Internet.

Other eBook collections, like the OhioLINK Electronic Book Center, are available only to CSU faculty, staff, and students because the library pays for them.

You also can search for eBooks in Discovery @ CSU. Select Everything @ CSU, CSU Books & Media or CSU Books & Media + OhioLINK as the scope of your search. eBooks will be indicated as Available Online.
