Digital Literacy for Teaching

Student consultations

Encourage students to make an appointment with a DDS staff member if they need help with any of the following:

  • Identifying digital tools to create an envisioned projects

  • Finding support for using digital tools

  • Finding open-access media for inclusion in a digital project

  • Identifying appropriate audiences and fitting project with audience and purpose

  • Working through the digital composition and design process

Faculty consultations

Faculty should consult with a DDS staff member if they have questions about any of the following:

  • Planning and implementing a digital literacy assignment 
  • Identifying appropriate software tools that can be used for a specific digital literacy assignment or outcome
  • Finding classroom support for a digital literacy assignment
