Library Digital Collections Assistant
Works under the direction of the Assistant Director of Collections & Resource Management and Digital Scholarly Publications and Programs Administrator to describe materials for inclusion in the library’s digital repositories
Scans and restores documents from the faculty, thesis and dissertation collection, and Special Collections.
Adds to and assists in maintenance of the Library's digital inventory
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge in the use of Adobe software products (Photoshop; Acrobat Pro) and MS Word and Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Possesses accuracy and attention to detail skills
Demonstrated excellent written communication skills including excellent spelling and grammar skills
Proficiency in reading cursive handwriting
