New for Spring 2023: Single sign-on for library resources

posted by Donna Stewart on 2023-01-17T10:18:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

Great news for the new semester: working with our colleagues in IS&T, we have implemented Single sign-on (SSO) for most of our library resources. SSO is an authentication method that enables users to securely authenticate with multiple applications and websites by using just one set of credentials.

You can now use your CampusNet login to:

  • Access our online resources from off-campus
  • Access My Account in Scholar for viewing your checkouts and for requesting and renewing books.
  • Log in to Interlibrary Loan

Logging in will now use the same credentials you use when accessing other campus resources like email and Blackboard. OhioLINK requesting will continue to function as it always has.

PIN logins will still be necessary for our community users who don't have CSUIDs.

We are hopeful this change will make interacting with the Michael Schwartz library's online services a little bit more manageable for the campus community.
