CSU Multi-Factor Authentication is here!

enroll your phone in multi-factor authentication before Tuesday, April 18th.Beginning Tuesday, April 18, 2023, IS&T began requiring multi-factor authentication (MFA) for patrons logging in to CSU's Single Sign-On from off-campus. MFA is an essential security feature that will heighten CSU's security and help protect your account credentials and online identity.

This affects users of Library systems that require Single Sign-On logins from off-campus, including interlibrary loan and access to research databases and other secure online collections.  Students, faculty and staff who use these systems from off-campus need to enroll their phone or other mobile device in MFA, then enter a special code sent to that device to verify their identity when logging in.  Options exist for smartphones, tablets, and basic phones.

To get started, visit, where you'll find information and instructions for enrolling via a smartphone/tablet (Microsoft Authenticator app) or basic cell phones (calls/text messages), as well as answers to frequently asked questions.

Questions?  Contact the IS&T Help Desk at 216-687-5050.
