assist for international studentsHow can the Michael Schwartz Library help international students succeed? The Library has formed the Assistance, Support, and Success for International Students Team (ASSIST). The team is focused on providing resources and services to international students to help ease their transition to CSU and support their academic success. In addition to participating in the Center for International Services and Programs (CISP) international student orientation and resource fair, below are some of the services and resources that are available:

  • A growing resource page for international students
  • Research guides for all majors offered at CSU and for some specific courses
  • A Personal Librarian service through which students can call, email, or meet (Zoom or in-person) with a librarian for subject-specific research or library help
    COMING SOON:
  • A welcome newsletter with library information to be emailed to incoming international students
  • A physical resource area in the library specifically for international students

ASSIST has more ideas that we plan to implement in the future to continue to aid international students.
