MLA Style refers to the citation style created and agreed upon by the Modern Language Association. MLA Style was last revised in 2016.
Setting up your paper in MLA Style will be a breeze if you follow these steps:
1. Double space your paper
a. Do not include an extra space between paragraphs
2. Use a legible font
a. Appropriate fonts include Times New Roman and Ariel
3. Use size 12 font
4. Set margins to 1 inch all around
5. Indent the first line of each paragraph
6. Include page numbers in the top right-hand corner of your paper
