U.S. Geological Survey
The USGS produces maps, publications, and data, and much of it is freely available on their website.
ODNR Division of Geological Survey
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Geological Survey serves to produce information and manage the geological resources of Ohio.
State Geological Surveys
Every U.S. state has its own geological survey, which produces its its own research. This list is maintained by the Association of American State Geologists.
NOAA Satellite and Information Service
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration provides access to up-to-date and historical oceanic, climatic, and geophysical data.
