Use Interlibrary Loan Services to get articles you need that are not in the Michael Schwartz Library or available online.
Many electronic resources (research databases, e-books, etc.) are limited to CSU students, faculty, and staff when accessed off campus. You may be prompted to authenticate by entering your CampusNet ID and password.
To find information about a company, LexisNexis is a good place to start. Start by clicking on "Search by Subject or Topic" and choosing one of the options under "Companies."
For product information, try starting with Business Source Complete. Here you can browse trade publications that will have industry trends and product information. Mergent Online's "Horizons" tab will also provide product-specific information. (Click here for a tutorial) For more general industry trend reports, use IBIS World. US patents for specific products can be found in the US Patent and Trademark Office's website.
If none of these options provide enough info, try searching industry associations for supplier/product information. You may also find info by searching the product in a Google search.
