Your book will be designed and formatted in Pressbooks, an online book content management platform.  The finished result will allow readers to download your book from a variety of devices including Kindles, phones, and iPad for ebooks. It can also be formatted as a printed book. 

Your ebook will be included on the MSL Academic Endeavors Gallery page and will have its own descriptive page including

• Title
• Book cover image
• Description
• Plumx Metrics 
• ISBN (global book identifier)
• Share links on social media
• Keywords for search engines

You will have access to your own author dashboard, which includes a readership map, download counts, and readership statistics.  You can share your data with others and export statistics for use in external applications.

You will receive monthly readership reports via email, where you can link directly to your author dashboard to view your up-to-date download information.

If you are a CSU student, you are also required to have a faculty member sponsor your work. Please ask a faculty member to complete the sponsorship agreement form. 

When you are ready to submit your manuscript for publication, please follow the Manuscript Submission Guidelines.

Download and review the License to Publish Agreement.  Your book can be published only with your signed approval. You will retain copyright and if you decide later to publish with a commercial publisher, the book can be removed from EngagedScholarship @ CSU.
