Researching Products and Services

Finding data and information on specific products and services can be more difficult than researching companies. Data for specific products and services is less readily available than that for entire industries or companies. That said, here are some good starting points:

Infoscout Numerator
Numerator reports show retail sales channel data for major name brands. It will show you sales performance for age, gender, family, ethnicity, sales channel, and more in index form.
Google Shopping
Look at Google Shopping search tends for thousands of brands. See search trends over time, and across device and geography.
Business Insights (with Market Share Reporter)
Market Share Reports provide market share information for industries, and major products and brands. Requires Cleveland Public Library card.
