Contactless pickup is available during intersession

The library is still offering a contactless pickup option for library materials all through intersession.  Students and faculty are able to collect their requested items from the lobby of Rhodes Tower whenever it's open. 


Students and faculty may request this service by calling User Services desk at (216) 687-2479 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, or by emailing library.userservices@csuohio.edu.  You will receive an email when your request is ready, and you'll have ten business days to collect your items.  Materials for contactless pickup will be placed on a shelf in the front lobby of Rhodes Tower, sorted alphabetically and labeled with the patron's name. 

This procedure was implemented in an effort to meet the safety needs of our community while the library was closed during the pandemic, and has proven so popular that we have opted to continue offering the service.  Hundreds of students and faculty have taken advantage of the contactless pick-up option since it was implemented. 

NOTE: the University will be closed from December 24th-31st. We will not be processing materials during this time, and the Rhodes Tower lobby will be locked.
