Contactless Pickup is Being Discontinued

We wanted to let our university community know that we are discontinuing Contactless Pickup.
 

As you know, we initially began the service during the Fall semester of 2020 to provide a safe, convenient method of retrieving library materials during the COVID pandemic. It was a popular and successful program:  we've provided nearly 1000 requested materials via the contactless shelving in the Rhodes Tower lobby.

As the campus landscape and pandemic response has evolved, we have observed a dramatic reduction in requests for the contactless pickup option. Due to this decline in use, the MS Library will discontinue the contactless pickup service effective this Friday, 10/14/22 so that we may redirect our limited resources to more crucial efforts. We look forward to greeting you in person!
