Find Books with WorldCat@CSU

There are many ways to search for books using OneSearch. Here is one way.

  1. Enter your keywords into the search box
  2. To the left of the result list, use the check boxes under "Source Type" to limit to books or ebooks.
  3. If you want to view books available at CSU's Michael Schwartz Library, select "Library" and check "Michael Schwartz Library."  You may need to click on "Show More" in order to see the listing for the Michael Schwartz Library.

Find Books with Scholar

Scholar is the Library's catalog. It is a descriptive list of items that are owned by a particular library. Llibrary catalogs are electronic information databases accessed by computer and called "online catalogs."

Use Scholar to search for books, ebooks, videos, music and audio recordings, and more.

You may search by title, author, keyword or subject.

Find Books Available at OhioLINK Libraries

The OhioLINK Central Catalog allows you to find and borrow books, video and audio recordings from 88 Ohio colleges and universities. 

  1. Search Scholar Online Catalog to see if the Schwartz Library has the item.

  2. If the search results indicate that the Schwartz Library does not have the item you need, or that the item is unavailable, click the green button labeled "OhioLINK" to check statewide holdings and availability.

  3. Once you locate an item you want, you may request it;  requested items will arrive at the designated pick up location in 3 to 5 business days.

How do I request an item from OhioLINK?

  1. Look for the green button labeled "Request" and then select it.
  2. Select your school (Cleveland State) from the drop down menu.
  3. Fill in the boxes with the requested information
  4. Select a pick up instituiton and location.
  5. Slect the "Submit" button.
  6. You will get a confirmation screen.
  7. Items arrive in 3 to 5 business days; email is sent to CSU email account.
